A bipartisan bill securing a federal right to abortion and contraception has just been introduced in the Senate. The bill, called the Reproductive Freedom For All Act, needs your immediate support to meet an urgent crisis.
When the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade on June 24, it threw our nation and reproductive rights in dozens of states into crisis. Please tell your senators you want action now!
The bill introduced this week would prohibit any state regulation that imposes an undue burden on women’s access to abortion care before viability and bar restrictions on post-viability abortions necessary to protect the life and health of the woman. (The bill has gained bipartisan support by a compromise preserving conscience protections allowing providers with religious objections to opt-out.) The only organized opposition to abortion rights is religious in nature, so abortion rights are a state/church issue.
Please tell your senators to vote yes to help keep abortion care and contraception available in all U.S. states by pressing the “Take Action” button below. Or you can call the United States Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and you will be connected to the senator of your choosing.
If you have not previously signed up for action alerts using FFRF’s new system, which debuted on Feb. 3, 2022, there is a one-time requirement to fill in your name, email and address. Then our system will remember you and connect you to the correct governmental offices. (If you move addresses, please update this information accordingly.)
